About Me

My Journey

I was a 35-year old “successful” corporate lawyer with a fast-paced life in Silicon Valley. Yet at the end of the day, loneliness set in – I had not found a satisfying relationship and had no idea why, or how. I also felt blocked around sex and struggled to enjoy this area of my life. So I took a leap, left law, and began a decade-long journey of deep self-discovery and healing.

Over the next 10 years, through therapy, coaching, and spiritual practices (meditation, kirtan chanting, intuitive dance, and more), I uncovered my voice, creativity, and passion – both within myself and then in a loving, healthy relationship.

My Mission

I aim to help cultivate the same sense of PLAY, POWER, and FREEDOM for others.

I am now a writer and grantmaker to nonprofits, passionate about supporting writers, journalists, and filmmakers from diverse backgrounds so that all of our experiences can be seen and heard. I am equally driven to increase awareness of and access to resources for mental and sexual health – taboo topics particularly in the Asian-American community from which I come.
